The HEC Lausanne Executive MBA maintains a stable position in the 2024 Financial Times EMBA ranking, securing 70th place globally. We are proud to be featured for the 13th consecutive year in this highly competitive ranking, where a dozen schools enter and drop out each year. As one of only five Swiss EMBA ranked in the top 100, we take pride in being consistently recognised as a leading programme in Switzerland and globally.

Championing Gender Diversity Among Participants

As in previous years, we stand out for our commitment to diversity. With 58% female participants in the Class of 2024, we are ranked among the top 10 EMBAs worldwide for female representation and are in the top 5 across Europe. More specifically, within this ranking, we are the 7th programme globally with the highest percentage of female participants, highlighting our continued dedication to fostering gender balance in leadership.

Excelling in Global Perspective and International Diversity

Our program also continues to excel in international diversity, with 81% international participants, ranking us 2nd in Switzerland and within the top 20 worldwide.  Our commitment to offer a global perspective is further enriched by our faculty, with HEC Lausanne Executive MBA ranking in the top 20 worldwide for international faculty.

Attracting Experienced Candidates for Meaningful Contributions

In addition to diversity, we are proud to be ranked 32nd globally for the work experience of our participants, which highlights our focus on attracting professionals with significant industry expertise. This enables us to foster dynamic class discussions and impactful group collaboration.

Showcasing a World-Class Alumni Network with a Significant Impact

A key highlight in this year’s ranking is our outstanding performance in the new Alumni network impact criterion, where we secured 57th place globally and ranked as 1st Alumni network with a main campus in Switzerland.  This achievement underscores ongoing efforts to cultivate an engaged and impactful alumni community and their ongoing contributions to the success of their peers.

Continuing Our Journey towards Excellence with Gratitude

The HEC Lausanne Executive MBA’s stable position in the 2024 Financial Times ranking reflects our commitment to excellence, diversity, and a rich learning environment. While we celebrate these successes, we remain focused on continuous improvement, including our efforts to enhance our ESG ranking, the number of Female faculty, and any other aspect that impacts our participants’ experience.

As we celebrate these achievements, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our students, alumni, faculty, and team. Their dedication and drive are the cornerstones of our success.

Special thanks to the Class of 2021 for their support and engagement, which has been crucial in the Financial Times evaluation process.
